The Problem
Would you believe me if I told you that most data scientists are reduced to using Microsoft Excel to diagnose issues with large industrial assests like wind turbines and solar panels?
Yep. That's right. Time and time again we heard that detecting issues on industrial assets can be a time consuming, painful manual process mainly done in Excel. That had to change.
And now
The Solution
Starting with nothing, I interviewed multiple different users in the power generation space to define the problem, and worked from prototyping to managing a team of developers to build out this new functionality.
After extensive user research across multiple different vericles I created a system to not only allow users to track ongoing issues with their assets, but also allow them to track the full life cycle of the issue, document solutions, explore and improve analytic performance and much more.
